We believe young people thrive when they have three things: an education that opens doors, support for their mind and wellbeing, and a mentor who believes in them.
The Soyah Foundation grew out of conversations around our family table. Between us, we have built businesses, taught in classrooms, and studied how young people learn, cope, and grow. Again and again, we saw the same thing: the right guidance at the right moment can change the direction of a young life.
Too many young people never get that moment. They lack access to opportunity, to someone who listens, or to the tools to handle pressure and setbacks. We created this foundation to help close that gap.
Based in Atlanta, Georgia, with roots and relationships that reach beyond the United States, we create our own programs and support the people and organizations already doing this work well.
To help young people discover their potential and become better members of society by investing in their education, their wellbeing, and the relationships that guide them.
A world where every young person, regardless of background, has the knowledge, emotional strength, and mentorship to build a meaningful life and give back to their community.
The Soyah Foundation creates and supports programs, projects, and organizations that educate, support, and mentor young people, so they grow in mind, character, and purpose.
Knowledge opens doors. We invest in learning that lasts a lifetime.
We meet young people where they are, with empathy and respect.
